East Midlands Inclusive Choir

The Inclusive Choir is open to anyone up to age 25 and is free to join. We aim to be as inclusive as possible, and actively try to remove barriers to participation from those with severe and profound learning disabilities.

The choir encourages participation and expression in any way, including using Makaton signing, singing, making sounds on instruments, using technology or through movement and dance. 

There are no auditions, and you do not need any previous experience or to be able to read music notation, and family and friends are welcome to join in too!

Rehearsals

The choir will rehearse in a mixture of face-to-face and online rehearsals so that you can join in however is best for you.

Autumn term

• Online rehearsals – Wednesdays, 5.00-6.00pm
  20 September, 4 October and 18 October, 8 November, 22 November, 6 December

Spring term

• Online rehearsals – Wednesdays, 5.00-6.00pm
  Wednesdays 10 January, 24 January, 7 February, 13 March, 27 March

Summer term

• Online rehearsals – Wednesdays, 5.00-6.00pm
  Wednesdays 17 April, 1 May, 15 May, 5 June, 19 June, 3 July
