UpRising School Network
Tuesday 18 November, 3.30-4.45pm, online
The Special School Network is a supportive space for staff in special schools, specialist and alternative provision to share experiences and connect with others passionate about special education music. Music leads, teachers and TAs come together with invited experts to exchange ideas, gain fresh insights, and celebrate inclusive music-making in every setting.
Our feature this term will be on trauma informed practice including how Bulllfrog Arts use the secure base model in their teaching and this positively impacts young people.
There will also be the opportunity to network, led by staff at your local Music Hub, with teachers of music within your locality.

UpRising Hivemind
Wednesday 19 November, 4.00–5.15pm, Online
Join the UpRising Hivemind, a free termly webinar series designed to help you engage every learner — especially those with additional needs or challenging behaviour. It’s a friendly, supportive space for instrumental and classroom tutors to share experiences and explore creative approaches that make a difference.
Each session brings together practitioners from mainstream and specialist settings, creating a safe space to ask questions, share challenges, and discover new ideas for inclusive, engaging music-making.
All are welcome to share experiences – no question or topic is too basic and no challenge too complex.
