Alongside our lovely new website, we are launching this Research Blog to share some of the behind-the-scenes thinking that is shaping the project.

The Great Little Orchestra Project is a workforce development programme supporting young orchestral musicians to lead music workshops in special education settings. Developed by Music Education Hub East Midlands and funded by Arts Council England, the project has been nominated for a 2026 Music and Drama Education Award, alongside the release of a new film celebrating its impact.
