UpRising Special School Network - Summer

Tuesday 27th April 2027, 3.30-4.45pm, online

This network will focus on the use of music teaching resources, that can be found free of charge, with a presentation and further discussion on how can we utilise them to support active learning, alongside finding ways to support colleagues who might use them in a more passive way. There will be a focus on Singing Hands and free digital resources.

The Special School Network is an online space dedicated to supporting those teaching music in specialist settings and alternative provision across the East Midlands. We aim to equip teachers with the tools and knowledge to excel in the practical teaching of inclusive music-making, making these sessions suitable for Specialist Music Leads, SENDcos, SLT, and classroom teachers in both specialist and mainstream schools.
